I told you the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold wasn’t dead: It returns ‘in limited quantities’ to shelves on Friday

  • The Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold returns to stores
  • “Restocks sell out quickly”
  • There may be life in the Trifold after all

Rumors about the death of the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold were premature. Starting this Friday, April 10, 2026, Samsung will restock shelves in the US with limited quantities of the innovative foldable phone.

To refresh your memory, Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold phone late last year. While Samsung has been in the foldable phone game for several years (see the fantastic Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7), this was the first Galaxy with two folds. Unfolded, it is only 3.9 mm thick. Folded twice, it measures 12.9 mm. The $2,899 phone is packed with tech, including a 200MP main camera, a 6.6-inch display on the outside, and a huge, flexible 10-inch display on the inside.
