The women’s division of Major League Wrestling (MLW) has seen tremendous growth over the last year with some of the industry’s top stars joining the company.

Women’s Featherweight World Champion Shoko Nakajima is currently at the top of the division, but there are several others who are making waves and could certainly challenge for the title in the coming months and weeks.

Scarlett Bordeaux, Shotzi Blackheart, Priscilla Kelly and the newly signed Lady Frost could compete for the championship in the near future.

Bordeaux, who is in his second run with MLW, described the group as “very, very talented.”

“Well, I will say there are some of my best friends there, which is probably another reason why I want to be there,” he told Pak Gazette Digital in a recent interview. “Priscilla, Shotzi, Isla Dawn, those are my girls. We’ll all beat each other up when we have to, but we’ll love them to death. They’re very, very talented.”

Lady Frost was the most recent addition to the MLW roster. He has worked in the independent scene for several years and has made appearances in WWE, All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Alianza Nacional de Lucha Libre, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).

After her contract with AEW expired earlier this month, she was quickly picked up by MLW.

PRO WRESTLING STARS KILLER KROSS AND SCARLETT BORDEAUX TALK ABOUT ‘VERY SIMPLE DECISION’ TO WORK IN MLW AGAIN

Bordeaux said those who don’t exactly know much about the Pennsylvania native will soon find out.

“She’s an incredible gymnast, an incredible athlete,” Bordeaux said. “I haven’t actually been able to wrestle her yet, but I’ve seen her on shows and we have a lot of friends in common, we love her to death.”

Bordeaux is halfway through his fifth month back in MLW. She returned to the company with her husband, professional wrestler Killer Kross. He said he has had “more fun” wrestling than ever since rejoining the company.

“The talent is absolutely stockpiled,” he said. “I’ve been killing it with my matches and wins, and I feel very, very focused, and I’m having more fun than ever with wrestling, honestly.”

In particular, Bordeaux said he enjoyed being able to do a little bit of everything when it came to professional wrestling.

“I feel like I’m going to do everything right now,” he told Pak Gazette Digital. “I can manage, I can wrestle, I’m not pigeonholed into one role, which I’m very grateful for. Managers are very valuable as you can see with Paul Heyman, but it’s nice to be able to do everything and show that you can do it all. So, MLW allows me to do that and the shows have been killing it. They’ve been selling tickets all over the country, and I’m going to fight on Sunday against a very tough girl. I don’t. I still want to say who it will be. I’m very, very excited.”

MLW will host CMLL Fantastica Mania USA and tape an episode of “MLW Fusion” in Charleston, South Carolina, on Sunday night. Bordeaux is scheduled to appear with a host of other MLW talent, including new signing Trevor Lee.
