Meghan Markle rewrote her own fashion manual during her visit to Australia, bringing back a style she once insisted was firmly in the past.
Leaving Swinburne University in Melbourne, the Duchess of Sussex paired her elegant ‘Anya’ dress from Australian brand Friends with Frank.
In a 2024 interview with Bloomberg’s Emily Chang, Meghan had been candid about her previous royal wardrobe and admitted that wearing nude pantyhose during her time as a royal never felt like “herself.”
He even joked that he hadn’t seen them “since the ’80s movies,” and described the look as something that wasn’t in tune with his personal style at the time.
The outing itself focused on more serious matters, with Meghan and Prince Harry engaging in conversation with students about the realities of social media and its impact on mental health.
Both have expressed their views on online wellbeing, listened to young people share their experiences and encouraged open dialogue about digital pressures.
The Sussexes will head to Sydney next, where the Duchess will attend her much-talked about “Your Best Life” retreat.
