Canva AI 2.0 made headlines at the company’s annual Create conference, but no announcements were made when its co-founders unveiled the long-awaited Canva Offline.
For the first time, the online tool now supports full offline editing with automatic syncing when connections are reestablished, which the company considers critical for two distinct reasons.
First, it gives traveling professionals expanded access to their files, whether they’re in the air, on a train, or simply on a non-time signal. But secondly, the move aligns with Canva’s “democratizing design” philosophy by improving accessibility in developing countries where reliable internet connections are not consistent.

Canva Create’s ‘One More Thing’ Was Actually Three More Things
At launch, users can select individual files and designs to download when they plan to go offline. It’s unclear whether an extended offline mode will follow, whereby users can start new projects from scratch, but this understandably requires potentially huge downloads and may not be feasible. TechRadar Pro has asked Canva for clarification.
At the same time, the company also stated that its new education-focused Learn Grid with a mapped curriculum would be available to all users. Thousands of ready-to-use resources available in 16 languages, combined with the power of editing with AI, are aimed primarily at teachers, but by making them available to everyone, we can also see them useful in community projects and after-school outreach programs.
Finally, Canva has perfected Print Shop (formerly Canva Print), an end-to-end design, printing and delivery platform that works entirely within Canva without users having to download their designs or deal with third-party tools.
