LAS VEGAS – WWE star Danhausen has been an eccentric delight since joining the company and making his debut at Elimination Chamber in February.
Danhausen has the ability to “curse” his WWE opponents. Stars like Dominik Mysterio, Kit Wilson and The Miz have felt the effects of Danhausen’s skills, and it seems like the New York Mets are suffering too.

Former WWE head writer Brian Gewirtz, a long-suffering Mets fan, told Danhausen earlier this week on social media that if he could lift the “curse” on the Mets, “I would do everything in my power to put his face on the side of a (WWE production) truck.”
Danhausen said Gewirtz had a deal and wanted his face on the truck right away. However, it seems that the agreement has not been finalized.

“I stopped cursing at the Mets. But it didn’t work because I think it was Brian Gewirtz who didn’t pay Danhausen. He didn’t send me my money, so it didn’t have full effect,” Danhausen told Pak Gazette Digital on Friday morning. “Once I have the money, maybe it will really work because right now it’s probably half of a no-swearing situation. It’s like a backup situation.”
Hours later, the Mets lost their ninth consecutive game to the Chicago Cubs 12-4.

The Cubs dealt with the “Goat Curse” for years before winning the World Series in 2016. It appears the Mets have to deal with the Danhausen Curse, at least for now.
Meanwhile, Danhausen is set for his first WrestleMania appearance in some capacity. Reports have indicated that he will have at least one segment with John Cena at WrestleMania 42.
