LAS VEGAS – Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre had several major skirmishes on SmackDown in the lead-up to their match at WrestleMania 42. So much so that they were put in an unsanctioned match at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night.
Fatu promised on the last “Friday Night SmackDown” before WrestleMania to put McIntyre in the “rear view.” He did just that.

The two wrestling giants brutalized each other as best they could. The match itself began on the outside of the ring as Fatu pushed McIntyre into the ring announcer’s corner and introduced tables, chairs, and a toolbox into the match.
It wouldn’t last long as McIntyre would regain the momentum. He grabbed a cellphone and recorded a video of himself before hitting Fatu over the head with it.

As the match progressed, McIntyre’s frustration boiled. He launched himself over the ring ropes towards Fatu on the outside of the ring. He tried to immobilize Fatu, but he would kick him. It happened often because Fatu just wouldn’t stay down.
McIntyre even pushed Fatu off the top rope and through a table. But Fatu just wouldn’t stay down.
Fatu returned to the ring and nailed McIntyre in the head with a toolbox. McIntyre fell onto a table placed in the ring. Fatu hit a moonsault off the top rope and through McIntyre.
Fatu pinned McIntyre for the win.

It is Fatu’s second consecutive WrestleMania victory in two appearances. He defeated LA Knight for the United States Championship last year.
