WrestleMania 42: Bron Breakker costs Seth Rollins the fight against Gunther

LAS VEGAS – Seth Rollins was supposed to face Gunther at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night, but he didn’t expect a freight train to run through him.

Rollins seemed to be in the driver’s seat towards the end of the match. He hit Gunther with a Pedigree on the announce table and followed up with a storm. All he had to do was return Gunther to the ring and finish the job. While the referee was tending to Gunther, a wild Bron Breakker appeared.

Breakker ran down the side of the entrance ramp at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at full speed and impaled Rollins with a twisted spear. He rolled Rollins back into the ring, spit on him, and waited for Gunther to finish the job.

Gunther put Rollins in a sleeping position, forcing “The Revolutionary” to submit.

Gunther walked back as the winner. Breakker was hanged to separate the remains.

Breakker ran down the ramp and hit Rollins with another crushing spear, stunning the crowd.

Breakker has been out of action for a few weeks due to an injury, which likely cost him some sort of match at WrestleMania 42. However, he still had a grudge against Rollins as their rivalry escalated.

This will not be the last of Breakker and Rollins. On the other hand, Paul Heyman will now owe Gunther a favor. It will be interesting to see how the favor is paid off.
