Mira Sorvino has vowed to keep her children anchored in image-obsessed Hollywood.
talking to hamptons magazine, the 57-year-old actress revealed that her children will not have the right to her Hollywood lifestyle because she knows that ‘they are growing up with a silver spoon.’
Mira married Christopher Backus in 2004 and the two have four children together: Mattea, Johnny, Holden and Lucia.
“They are growing with a silver spoon, just for [our] lifestyles as actors, and I always try to keep them grounded and teach them to be good people who actively help others,” said the Mock actress.
When asked if her children were interested in pursuing a career in acting, she responded, “My son says he wants to be a marine animal rescuer, which is really cute.”
“I see myself retired helping to rescue dolphins. “They are wonderful little people and I love them with all my heart, so I can’t wait to see what they are going to do,” Mira added.
