The night agent Season 2 is almost here, and to celebrate its upcoming release, Netflix released its first five minutes early.
Two years after the spy thriller series became the latest TV original to enjoy major success on Netflix, its second season will debut on the streaming giant this Thursday (January 23). It is understandable that enthusiasm is growing over The night agentThe return of Netflix and in an attempt to capitalize on that growing fan fervor, Netflix has released an extended look at the opening sequence of the season 2 premiere.
Unfortunately, you cannot view the images on YouTube or another social media platform, such as Instagram or X/Twitter. In fact, you can only watch it through Netflix’s internal website, Tudum, which is… a choice. I guess Netflix has to get people to visit the site somehow!

The episode begins in Bangkok, Thailand, with Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland appearing to be enjoying a date with someone other than Luciane Buchanan’s Rose. Wait, though, folks, because he’s not actually romantically involved with anyone else. Instead, he’s undercover with Brittany Snow’s Alice, his new Night Agent Program mentor, as the pair follow someone of their interest.
As expected, things go wrong soon after. After the duo split up to follow different people, Peter gets more than he bargained for when he is ambushed in a quiet alley. After firing a few warning shots with his now not-so-hidden gun, he is forced to flee while Alice desperately tries to locate and rescue him.
What time does The Night Agent season 2 release on Netflix?
We won’t know what happens with Peter and Alice in season 2 of one of Netflix’s best shows for a couple of days. In fact, just when things start to get interesting from an action standpoint, the extended clip for Season 2 ends.
