The stars of One Direction are apparently aligning, and even Niall Horan is feeling it.
In a video chat with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Horan called it “wild” to see his former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik releasing music and touring at the same time, even if they are doing so alone. He even made time to promote his next album. Dinner to see Tomlinson live in Paris on April 21.
“It’s crazy that we’re all coming basically at the same time. I literally went to see Louis in Paris a couple nights ago. That show was great too. We’re all going at the same time. It’s pretty wild,” Horan said.
And he is not wrong. Horan is preparing to Dinnerwhich will be released on June 5, while Malik will be released Konnakol just last week. Meanwhile, Styles started the year with Kiss all the time. Disco, Occasionallyreleased in March.
As for Tomlinson, Horan shared how he noticed a positive change in his old friend, who is finding the joy of making music again.
“He definitely looks like he’s having a lot of fun up there. I’ve [been] talking to him. He’s in a similar situation to me, where it’s like that freedom of knowing where you are musically…”
He added: “So it’s great to see him get there and enjoy himself, he sings great and sounds, yeah, the whole band sounds great. The show looks great. Very good for him.”
