Danny DeVito revitalized his acting career in the comedy series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

DeVito, who plays Frank Reynolds on the show, entered the ring as the “Garbage Man.” He explained in the episode that his gimmick was to enter the ring with a trash can, throw trash in the ring, and eat trash before hitting his opponent in the head with the trash can.

There is a small chance that “Trash Man” will come to life.

Comedian Kevin Nealon challenged DeVito to a match in WWE or All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

“I challenge Danny DeVito to a match in WWE or AEW,” Nealon wrote in X.

He followed up after a few hours: “I’m here. You’re quiet.”

Amidst the social media posts, AEW CEO Tony Khan seemed to have interest in booking the match.

“Do you guys own these outfits?” Khan wrote on X with a photo of Nealon and DeVito in the “Saturday Night Live” sketch “Hans and Franz.”

Nealon replied that he did have the suits.

“Then you guys are in,” Khan responded.

For what it’s worth, a Reddit user recently pointed out that AEW star Chris Jericho seemed to be using Nealon’s “Mr. Subliminal” character from the comedy show in his own way. If a match is organized, everything will soon be closed.

AEW has used celebrities in the past for some of its events. Comedian Wayne Brady got involved in a match at Revolution. Social media influencer “Big Boom” AJ and his family have also appeared at matches on several occasions.
