- Leaked renders show what Samsung Galaxy glasses could look like
- They do not have a screen and look very similar to Ray-Ban Meta glasses
- However, they supposedly run Android XR with Gemini access.
Meta is probably the biggest name in smart glasses right now, but it may not be for much longer, because Samsung has a couple of smart specs of its own on the way. And according to a new leak, they look a lot like the Meta Ray-Ban, but with at least one clear advantage.
Android Headlines has shared renders of what it claims are the Samsung Galaxy glasses and, for the most part, they look like a normal pair of specs; the only real sign that they aren’t are the camera lenses on the edges of the frame.
But this is a design that’s also very similar to many of Meta’s smart glasses, which also have a camera on each side and, in some cases, similarly shaped lenses.

Their capabilities sound similar too, with Android Headlines explaining that this first pair of Samsung smart glasses also doesn’t have a screen, but that while running Android
It’s a similar idea to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, but with those specs, you’re stuck with Meta’s AI, which isn’t as capable or as popular as Google’s, so Samsung could have a big advantage there.
Of course, Meta has the Ray-Ban and Oakley brands for its glasses, which is probably more attractive than the Samsung brand here, but we already know that future Samsung frames will be made in collaboration with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, so the Meta brand advantage won’t last long either.
And if you’re disappointed that these glasses don’t have a screen, you shouldn’t have to wait much longer for a model with a screen, which will arrive in 2027, according to Android Headlines.
But this first display-less pair will likely arrive before the end of 2026, and are rumored to cost between $379 and $499 (roughly £280/AU$525 and £370/AU$695), putting them roughly in line with Meta’s pricing.

If you want to buy these Samsung glasses, you might be able to do so in July, as that’s when the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Watch 9 are likely to launch. Although Android Headlines speculates that the Galaxy Glasses could be teased then and go on sale later.
Personally, I think they look promising, but I’ll probably wait for the display model next year, although they’ll surely cost even more – leaks currently put the display model between $600 and $900 (around £440/AU$835 to £665/AU$1,250).
