In brazen night attack, terrorists belonging to the outlaws Fitna Al-Khawarij The group attacked a security forces camp in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district on Thursday, killing a policeman and a security officer.

According to security sources, the assailants launched a sudden attack late at night in Shadi Khel area of ​​Bettani sub-division, leading to an intense exchange of fire that lasted for about two hours. During the encounter, Constable Irfanullah and Security Officer Waseem were martyred.

Constable Irfanullah’s funeral prayer was offered with full state honors at Lakki Marwat police lines. A police contingent greeted the martyr, while senior officials placed wreaths on his coffin and offered prayers.

A large number of mourners attended the funeral, including Lakki Marwat District Police Officer (DPO) Nazir Khan, Deputy Commissioner Hamidullah Khan, Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Murad Khan, along with other police officers, civil administration officials and staff of various departments.

Paying tribute to the sacrifice of the martyr, DPO Khan stated that such eternal sacrifices by the police force were a guarantee for the establishment of lasting peace. He promised that the sacrifices of the martyrs would never be in vain and the war against terrorists would continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
