Asobo Studio has provided a development update on Resonance: the legacy of a plague talesuggesting that the game is just a few months away from release.
The third game of plague tale The series was announced last year at Summer Game Fest and now, in a new blog post, the studio has confirmed that the game’s release is “almost here.”
“It’s been a year since we revealed Resonance: the legacy of a plague tale and four from A Plague Tale: RequiemThe liberation. In the quiet of the Asobo Studio office, our team wondered how A plague tale The universe would still be alive,” the studio said. “Asobo Studio team on deck. Now, the launch is almost here. Soon you will face countless dangers alongside Sophia and her cronies.”

Asobo goes on to discuss Sophia and the team’s vision for her story, following brief hints at her past in A Plague Tale: Requiem.
While there is no official release date yet, the studio suggested that A plague tale legacy could be released this year and confirmed that the team is in the stages of perfecting various aspects of the game.
“The next few months are critical: our compass is set on testing, balancing and refining the game mechanics to deliver an experience as challenging as it is unforgettable,” said Asobo.
“The final touches, the last recording sessions, the final notes of the score, before offering you a story forged in the depths and mysteries of the Mediterranean Sea…”
The blog post also featured concept art of Sophia, along with new information about her character, style, and the stages of writing her story.
Resonance It will explore her childhood and youth, but the main story takes place when Sophia is 22 years old, about 15 years before the events of the first two games.
A plague tale: innocence released in 2019 to critical acclaim, and its sequel, A plague tale: Requiemarrived in 2022.
