KARACHI:
Flight operations between Pakistan and Bahrain partially resumed on Friday as Gulf Air operated its first flight to Karachi after nearly two months of suspension caused by regional tensions.
According to sources, the airline’s Airbus A321 aircraft, operating as flight GF-752, landed at Jinnah International Airport and subsequently embarked on its return journey.
The resumption comes after approximately 50 days of suspended operations caused by the conflict between Iran and the United States, which disrupted aviation routes throughout the region. Officials confirmed that the last flight from Bahrain to Karachi took place on February 28.
