A poignant royal throwback has resurfaced just in time for a historic anniversary.
London-based military tailors Kashket & Partners have opened their archives to share a deeply personal note from the Princess of Wales and Prince William.
Marking the 15th anniversary of its fairytale ceremony at Westminster Abbey, the tailor took to Instagram on Sunday and described it as “one of the proudest chapters” in its history.
The brand made not only Prince William’s military uniform, but also that of his godfather, Prince Harry, along with suits for pageboys and more than 2,000 ceremonial uniforms worn during the big occasion.
In the center of the post was a handwritten letter from Catherine, dated shortly after the wedding.
In elegant cursive, she thanked the team for their “hard work during the wedding preparations,” noting that “the little toys looked wonderful” and that she was “delighted with the results.”
He also expressed his gratitude for the time and care given during the tests and warmly added that the experience “truly couldn’t have been easier.”
Signed simply “Catherine,” the note ends with a warm greeting and the sentiment that it would serve as “a little reminder of the day.”
Kashket & Partners accompanied the post with a heartfelt congratulatory message, honoring Kate and William for their milestone and reflecting on the global importance of the day, watched by millions of people around the world.
