KARACHI: Cambridge International Education (CIE) AS level Business Studies paper has reportedly been leaked online, raising concerns over the security of the exam.
The incident comes days after CIE admitted that an Advanced Subsidiary (AS) mathematics 1 paper was leaked, saying the question paper was “shared prematurely against our regulations”.
The Business Studies paper, scheduled for today, was leaked and circulated online last night.
One of the three exams that circulated last night on social media platforms was the Business Studies exam, code “9609 Document 1”.
In a statement issued on April 30, the CIE said: “We can confirm that the Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics Paper 12 (9709), taken in our regions of Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Pakistan and South Asia, was shared prematurely against our regulations.”
The examination board said it was quickly and thoroughly investigating the incident to understand the extent of the leak and determine next steps regarding the compromised document.
ICN had said its priority remained to ensure that students were not disadvantaged by the incident while continuing to take all possible measures to protect the integrity of the exams and maintain confidence in the grades awarded.
