ISLAMABAD:
Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday visited the Margalla Expressway Extension Project site and directed that the Sangjani Interchange on GT Road be completed by July 31.
According to officials, the 2.7-kilometer-long project will have a three-lane carriageway on both sides, in addition to a two-lane service road. The plan also included a GT Road interchange, two underpasses and a bridge to ensure smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow.
During his visit, the Home Minister inspected the ongoing construction activities and received detailed briefings on the various components of the project.
