The details of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding may be under wraps, but several false details have been circulating with the couple’s names.
The 36-year-old pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 36, reportedly sent out invitations with only the dates and without confirming the destination, as guests will be taken to the exact location of the big day.
However, Maren Morris allegedly received an invitation via text messages that ended up being a hoax.
“I got this spam message a couple of weeks ago and it said, ‘You’re invited to Taylor [Swift] and travis [Kelce’s] wedding,’” Morris revealed during his SiriusXM Hits 1 Miami with Mack and Je show.
the girls Hitmaker continued, “And I was like, ‘I’m blocking this,’ because, there’s no way they’re going to send an invite over a text message like this.”
Although Morris was convinced the invitation was a spam message, she was baffled to learn that the sender had her number.
“What if I destroy it? This is weird,” the singer laughed.
This comes after the couple reportedly sent save the dates last month. The engaged are reportedly supposed to take their vows in New York City on July 3.
