LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau would probably easily beat most 90-year-olds in a push-up competition, but not Gary Player.

Player, 90, faced off against DeChambeau in a push-up competition on the White House lawn as President Trump looked on Tuesday.

The nine-time major champion crouched down and did push-ups with the 32-year-old.

Player and DeChambeau were at the White House on Tuesday when Trump signed a presidential memorandum that reinstated the Presidential Physical Fitness Testing Award, reviving a competitive school fitness program that was phased out during the Obama administration.

The move echoed the Trump administration’s broader push to “Make America Healthy Again.”

Player certainly looked healthy during the Masters, when he hit his ceremonial tee shot right down the middle of the fairway last month. Player had a message for young people while speaking in the Oval Office on Tuesday.

“I tell young people to love this country because they don’t realize what’s going on in the world,” Player said.

“Today there is a silent war being waged against the United States, and what we have to do is make these children realize that freedom, exercise and education begin with reading some books.

“What you put in your body is very important. What wonderful work!” [Trump] has done it. And I thank all the members of your Cabinet for maintaining this great word, this precious word: freedom.”

The player, who is in great shape, stated that his body is that of a 60-year-old person.

“I don’t think about 90,” Player told The Palm Beach Post last year. “I’m 90 years old! But actually, my body is that of a man, I would say 60.”

The player said he hopes to live to be 100 years old and stay active by playing or exercising as many days as possible.

With his impressive performance against DeChambeau in a push-up competition, Player looked like someone who had spent much of his days working out.
