Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni may have officially settled their major case, but the drama between them isn’t completely over yet.
Just days after the It Ends With Us settlement, Lively has now asked the court to make Baldoni pay her legal costs and additional damages related to her previous defamation case against him.
That previous case claimed huge amounts of money but was already dismissed by a judge.
The 38-year-old actress’s legal team is also pushing for additional sanctions, saying the lawsuit caused real harm and should not have been filed in the first place.
However, they argue that people should not face false or retaliatory lawsuits when they make serious complaints.
Although both sides recently agreed to settle, neither side apologized nor money was exchanged in the final settlement, surprising many who followed the case.
Baldoni’s side says this new request won’t change much and that the judge will make the final decision anyway.
So even after the agreement, the issue is still not completely resolved. Instead, he has moved on to another round of legal arguments, keeping the situation alive in the public eye.
