Meghan Markle can no longer keep her thoughts to herself as she reveals her true feelings about Kate Middleton’s ‘golden girl’ image.
The public’s ‘double standard’ towards Team Waleses and Team Sussexes has not sat well with the Duchess of Sussex, according to Heat World.
For the uninitiated, the Prince and Princess of Wales gave their fans a rare glimpse into their precious family time with their children George, Charlotte and Louis, on the occasion of their 15th wedding anniversary.
They were seen as real and raw, garnering praise and love from the online world.
But this is not the case with Meghan. A source claimed the Duchess believes all the scrutiny is on her and her family.
“It’s like there’s one set of rules for William and Kate and another for Meghan and Harry, and this latest photo has brought all the resentment over the double standard to the surface again,” the source said.
Meghan believes that even sharing small glimpses of Archie and Lilibet leads to criticism of her.
“Kate and William are clearly using their children as part of the family’s royal image and brand,” the report states.
But Meghan feels it’s “unfair” to be the center of backlash all the time.
“…she [Meghan] “She feels like she’s constantly being judged by a completely different rule book, and no matter what she does, Kate will be the golden girl and she’ll be the villain,” the source added.
Meghan’s heart broke at the unfair treatment she has been given since her royal exit.
