CD Projekt Red’s multiplayer sorcerer split, Sirius Projecthas found its main writer in Destiny 2: The Final FormKwan Perng’s narrative boss.
“I joined CD PROJEKT RED as a lead writer for Sirius Project“Perng announced on LinkedIn (via Eurogamer). “It will be some time before I can talk about the project, but in the meantime I’ve been diving into the dark and eclectic universe of the witcher.
“It’s humbling to have the opportunity to tell stories in this world and in the company of such talented developers.”

Perng, although he is also known for working on Destiny 2He also served as the narrative protagonist of Guild Wars 2 expansions and various downloadable content (DLC).
The developer most recently worked on Last erathe loot-based hack-and-slash action role-playing game (RPG) from studio Eleventh Hour Games.
Considering that CDPR has hired a senior writer to Sirius ProjectIt appears that the studio has at least begun to accelerate development in the sorcerer split.
Right now, your current priority is The witcher 4which CDPR has said will be the first game in a new Witcher trilogy it plans to release within a six-year period. CDPR has also suggested that the game is unlikely to release before 2027.
The renowned studio is also working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077which is now called Cyberpunk 2 and is officially in pre-production.
In addition to the two main projects, rumors have been circulating for some time that a third expansion will be carried out to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released before The witcher 4.
It is also claimed that Fool’s Theory, the studio that is remaking the witcher 1is developing the new witcher 3 expansion, and CDPR CFO Piotr Nielubowicz has also hinted that “new content” for an unnamed game could be released this year.
