Senator Faisal Vawda, reacting to reports of the failure of negotiations between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the government, has stated that these talks were nothing more than a joke to begin with.

He further said that the PTI leadership and the government share the same objective: to keep the founding president of the PTI in prison.

Faisal Vawda emphasized that sincerity is essential for negotiations, but it seems that both the government and the PTI have a common goal.

He further commented: “Those hoping for a ‘trump card’ are now wandering around with banners, but the nation still does not understand the reality of the situation.”

The senator criticized the PTI’s past policies, pointing out that the party stood by the government from the 18th to the 26th constitutional amendment.

He claimed that all difficulties are being created specifically for the PTI founder while the rest of the leadership has been spared important evidence.

According to Faisal Vawda, the entire scenario seems to be part of a pre-arranged strategy, in which negotiations are carried out only as a formality, while the real purpose lies elsewhere.
