Prince William and Princess Kate have reportedly made a crucial decision for their eldest son, Prince George, and are now ready to launch him into the next phase of his royal life.
As the future monarch and following royal tradition, the 12-year-old boy will enter boarding school in September, officially beginning the protocol for the heir to the throne.
There has already been much speculation about the school the Prince and Princess of Wales have chosen for the young prince, but Kensington Palace will make the announcement until the “last minute.”
However, in a series of unexpected circumstances, George could join one of his cousins at boarding school, according to daily mail.
Sources revealed that Princess Beatrice’s ‘bonus son’ Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi, affectionately called “Wolfie”, could be coming to Eton College, one of the favorites to have Wales’ eldest son. Beatrice and her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi were seen looking around the premises.
Beatrice’s husband Edo shared Wolfie with US-based architect Dara Huang, who previously expressed concern about the safety of children in the country following a series of school shooting incidents.
Therefore, it would not be a far-fetched idea if Dara and Edo were considering the UK for their 10-year-old son’s schooling. Additionally, Beatrice has also expressed her affection for her stepson and it would be an easy drive from the Cotswolds if Wolfie went to Eton.
There is no confirmation on any of the cases. There are other schools under consideration for George, including Kate’s alma mater, Marlborough, and Oundle School.
Even if George and Wolfie end up at the same school, George would be his distant cousin’s senior year. Although it remains to be seen how things turn out for the two young men.
