Naomi Osaka dazzles in a gold French Open outfit that echoes the Eiffel Tower at dusk

Naomi Osaka enters the Roland Garros court with a dazzling seam that Internet users cannot forget on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Osaka’s sparkling gold outfit at the French Open in Paris speaks volumes about her art of combining haute couture with sportswear.

For her first-round match against Germany’s Laura Siegemund on Tuesday, May 26, Osaka appeared on the clay court in a custom-made all-black suit designed by Swiss couturier Kevin Germannier.

The dress is custom designed using Osaka’s previous competition equipment. Germannier made a sleeveless lace-up top with delicate beading and a semi-sheer pleated skirt made from the inner lining of one of Osaka’s jackets.

After donning her dazzling outfit, Osaka changed up the designed look, revealing a sparkly Nike kit that featured a brown skirt set that featured a peplum top and a two-tier ruffled skirt, both detailed with vertical rows covered in gold sequins.

Osaka after the match had a few words to say about her sparkling couture, saying, “Honestly, it’s very couture. It’s funny, I feel like… do you remember the Eiffel Tower at night when it shines? I think I look a little like that.”

Osaka’s look at the French Open is just one of the stunning fashion statements she has made this year.

At the 2026 Met Gala earlier this month, Osaka walked up the iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a stunning white robe dress and matching headdress dressed in crimson feathers.

Osaka crushed Siegemund 6-3, 7-6 (3) to advance to the second round at Roland Garros.
