Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have reportedly made a thoughtful decision for the sake of the royal family’s happiness.
As police confirmed they were expanding their investigation into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s sex crimes, the York family daughters decided to stay away from the charming royal gathering.
For the uninitiated, Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips is set to marry Harriet Sperling in June.
At first, there were reports that Eugenia and Beatriz would participate in the intimate wedding ceremony, but now, a royal expert has dashed those hopes.
Tom Sykes of The Royalist stated that the sisters are embarrassed and very disturbed “again” by their father’s new scandal.
A source told the royal commentator that the princesses would “never want to overshadow the happy bride and groom’s day.”
According to sources, Beatrice and Eugenie will also not participate in Royal Ascot this summer.
On the other hand, Jennie Bond shared that the sisters have a good bond with their cousin, Peter, who “would feel that the supposed sins of Andrew and Sarah should fall on his daughters.”
