Princess Diana’s younger brother Charles Spencer apparently snubbed his nephew Prince Harry when he hosted the first party at the 13,000-acre Northamptonshire estate after their surprise wedding.
The 62-year-old, who has maintained a close bond with Harry even after his departure from the royal family in 2020, did not send Harry an invitation to attend the party.
The Duke of Sussex, according to a source, could voluntarily attend the party if he had the invitation, as he desperately plans to return to Britain and strengthen his ties with the people he knows.
“The measure suggests that he wants to enjoy the remaining years of his life with his new wife, leaving behind the memory of Diana and the enmity of his children,” they added.
The 9th Earl Spencer lives in his childhood home, Althorp House, where Prince William and Harry used to visit his mother, Princess Diana.
Charles Spencer shared photos of his new wife, Dr. Cat Jarman, 43, as well as their guests, enjoying the grounds of Charles and Diana’s sprawling childhood home.
He wrote: “Last night @CatJarman and I welcomed @NorthantsCCC and their wives and girlfriends to @AlthorpHouse for a barbecue. I felt quite small next to 6ft 7in Australian bowler Harry Conway. Great to see fellow Australian internationals Nathan McSweeney and Chris Lynn relaxing in the library.”
Newlywed Cat looked stunning in a beautiful blue printed halter neck top, which she paired with summery light blue wide leg jeans.
The new photos come a week after Charles shared images from their secret nuptials in Arizona. The Earl married Norwegian archaeologist Cat on Friday, May 15, and last Friday he revealed the news by sharing stunning photos of their wedding in front of the iconic Cathedral Rock in the red hills of Sedona.
