Here we go again: Apple’s new iOS 27 Siri 2.0 may have a beta tag attached and a waiting list before you can try it

  • Upcoming Siri 2.0 update could be labeled beta
  • There may also be a waiting list to access its functions.
  • We expect it to be announced on Monday at WWDC 2026.

It’s fair to say that Apple’s efforts to push Apple Intelligence updates to Siri and bring the digital assistant to the level of Gemini or ChatGPT have been somewhat painstaking up to this point, and it looks like the big Siri 2.0 update we’re expecting very soon won’t be easy either.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who accesses Apple’s information most of the time, says that the revamped and AI-enhanced version of Siri launching with iOS 27 may initially come with a ‘beta’ label attached.
