- Logitech’s new foldable mouse has a 30-day battery life and promises to reduce muscle tension
- Only a quarter of professionals say they bring a mouse into public spaces, although three quarters actually use one.
- Mobi Fold is available from $79.99 / £69.99 and works with most major operating systems.
Logitech has launched its first foldable mouse, designed to help hybrid workers and professionals who work on the go.
The company says the new Logitech Mobi Fold closes an “on-the-go productivity gap” where workers might prefer to use a separate mouse, but leave it at home due to portability concerns.
Thanks to the folding mechanism, it can be folded to almost half its size, making it easier to carry in laptop cases, travel organizers and other small bags.

In addition to making it easier to place in tight spaces, the action of folding it also controls the power of the mouse, with automatic on when unfolded and automatic off when folded. This feature means you don’t need extra buttons, but more importantly it makes it easier to manage power on the go to extend battery life.
And on that note, you’ll go up to 30 days between charges or, in a single minute, you’ll gain up to 22 hours of battery life.
And the problem is real, so Logitech will make you believe. Three quarters (72%) of professionals own a mouse, but only a quarter (26%) use it when working in public spaces.
The company will also have you believe that its Mobi Fold mouse reduces muscle tension by 22% compared to using a laptop’s built-in trackpad.
In an announcement, Logitech boasted about the mouse’s Adaptive Touch Scrolling feature, which automatically balances accuracy and speed depending on what the user is browsing. Users can also customize two programmable buttons through the Logi Options+ app for things like switching apps or taking screenshots.
It will also connect up to three devices via Bluetooth and works on all major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, iPadOS, and Android. ChromeOS and Android users also benefit from near-instant pairing, with the Mobi Fold becoming the first entry device to receive Fast Pair certification from Google.
It’s available to buy now, with consumer models priced at $79.99/£69.99 and the business version costing $89.99/£74.99 due to some business-focused additions such as sync support for streamlined IT monitoring.
