In Game 4 of the NBA Finals, rowdy behavior returned once again to Madison Square, New York, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
On Wednesday night, the New York Police Department made multiple arrests outside MSG Stadium after the crowd erupted into an uproar.
The rowdy behavior began when the Knicks were playing Game 4 of the NBA Finals at home against the Spurs.
Videos of the rumble circulating online show crowds climbing onto cars, traffic signs and light poles as NYPD officers arrest people.
The NYPD, however, did not detail how many arrests had been made, but confirmed that multiple arrests had been made outside the MSG stadium.
Following the incident, Knicks owner James Dolan canceled the viewing party outside MSG Stadium in what appears to be a standoff with city management.
New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani took to X (formerly Twitter) and announced the decision shortly before 5 p.m., amid an apparent dispute with the Knicks owner over security measures and the size of the party.
After a surprising comeback, the streets were flooded with Knicks fans excited about the victory that brings the series to 3-1.
Game 5 of the NBA Finals is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas.
