Islamabad:
While the world celebrates the International Education Day, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Friday the need to implement modern tools such as artificial intelligence with responsibility.
The president, asking for the responsible use of artificial intelligence to revolutionize the educational system, said that in the world of AI priority should be given to human will, creativity, critical thinking and decision making.
The president, in his message on the occasion of the International Education Day held that day, said that artificial intelligence -based tools could help adapt the learning process to individual needs.
Highlighting this year’s theme, “AI and Education: preserve human action in a world of automation,” he asked to use education to achieve a prosperous, inclusive and progressive Pakistan.
In his separate message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s determination to promote an educational system that embrace the promise of artificial intelligence and at the same time safeguard the essence of creativity, compassion and human purpose.
The prime minister recognized educators, defenders and partners who work tirelessly to illuminate lives with the light of knowledge.
“On this International Education Day, we reflect on the deep role that education plays when empowering people and communities to navigate the rapid advances in technology.”
