Czechia and South Africa will meet at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Thursday, June 18 at Atlanta Stadium on FOX in their second match of the tournament’s group stage.
Both Czechia and South Africa lost their first matches and either could be eliminated if they lose on Thursday.
Czechia is eliminated with a loss and Mexico wins or draws, while South Africa is eliminated with a loss and South Korea wins or draws.
Czechia scored first against South Korea with a Ladislav Krejcí header in the 59th minute, but gave up two goals in the final half hour to lose 2-1 in heartbreaking fashion.
Meanwhile, South Africa lost 2-0 to Mexico, a match in which they lost two players to red cards. They became the first nation to receive two reds in a World Cup match since 2006.
This will be the first time these two nations meet on a World Cup stage.

Of course, this resulted in South Korea scoring two goals and a 2-1 loss. Here the loser is eliminated and I hope Czechia wins. At least he offered something in the first game. I bet Sulc will score a goal or an assist at any time.
