World Cup knockout round: Who advanced from the group stage?

As the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup progresses, teams will secure their place in the knockout phase, which begins on June 28 and concludes with the World Cup final on July 19.

The field of 48 will be narrowed to 32, and then the headline knockouts will begin, with overtime and penalty shootouts as necessary to determine a winner. These are the teams that have so far managed to get a ticket to the round of 16 of the World Cup.
