Katy Perry used a giant mock iPhone on stage to shamelessly attack her ex-boyfriends and make it abundantly clear exactly who she’s answering the phone for these days.
During a performance at the O Son do CamiƱo music festival in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, on June 18, Perry put on an elaborate piece while performing her 2020 hit. It never really ends.
As she sang lyrics about revisiting a relationship with an irresistible ex, a giant prop phone behind her displayed incoming calls from apparent references to three old flames, and she made a spectacle of sending most of them straight to voicemail.
The first call, labeled “JM” along with a guitar emoji, appeared to be a nod to John Mayer.
Perry pressed the red button.
A second call referencing Diplo received the same treatment.
When “OB” appeared, apparently a nod to Orlando Bloom, complete with a sword emoji paying homage to his ace of spades tattoo on his chest, Perry let it play instead of responding, though he didn’t respond.
Bloom is the father of her five-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
What really pleased the crowd came when the initials “JPJT” appeared beneath a Canadian flag emoji, a fairly transparent reference to her current boyfriend Justin Pierre James Trudeau, the former Canadian prime minister.
Perry pressed the green answer button repeatedly and enthusiastically. Message received.
Perry, 41, and Trudeau, 54, have been together for almost a year.
Her split from Bloom was confirmed in 2025 after nine years together, and representatives for both parties said MY! News At the time the couple had been “shifting their relationship over the past few months to focus on co-parenting,” adding that raising Daisy “with love, stability and mutual respect” remains their shared priority.
Notably absent from the onstage roll call was Russell Brand, whom Perry divorced in 2012.
