The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi dismissed the accusations of participating in any anti-China event during his recent visit to the United States, labeling statements such as “toxic propaganda.”
In statements to the media in Houston, Naqvi clarified that his visit focused on the formulation of an effective strategy against terrorism, said Express News.
He denied having attended the anti-China functions and said that such a foundation propaganda would not affect the bilateral relations of Pakistan.
“My presence in a youth event is being misrepresented,” Naqvi said.
“It was not part of any anti-china meeting, and such false narratives make no difference in our commitments.”
Naqvi also stressed that counteracting terrorism is a shared responsibility, and added that Pakistan is still resolved by dealing with those who take arms against the country.
The minister revealed that his trip included meetings with US legislators, aimed at designing joint plans to combat terrorism.
“This is not just Pakistan’s fight; It is a collective battle, ”he said.
During the discussions with members of the United States Congress, Naqvi said that both parties explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
He asked for global cooperation to solve Pakistan’s challenges and emphasized that the problems of politicizing to damage Pakistan’s interests should be avoided.

Minister Naqvi invited US investors to invest in the Mining and TI sectors of Pakistan. He also listened to the problems faced by US companies operating in Pakistan, ensuring that these problems would be addressed priority.
He stressed that the United States Business Council of Pakistan could benefit from the numerous investment opportunities available in Pakistan.
He added that Pakistan is on the road to economic stability, with the improvement of economic indicators, and that the country’s economy is prepared for growth.
Minister Naqvi invited the Us-Pakistan Business Council to take advantage of investment opportunities in Pakistan. He also mentioned improvements in the issuance of necessary non -objection certificates (NOC).
The minister assured the United States-Pakistan business council that special facilities would be provided priority.
