Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are finally learning about their royal roots, but a reunion with their royal cousins seems unlikely.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly bring their little ones to the UK in mid-July. If this happens, a meeting with King Charles will surely be on the table.
But royal fans are excited to witness the long-awaited reunion between the Sussex and Welsh children.
However, royal expert Amanda Matta said Page six“there are no indications” about the reunion of the royal cousins.
He explained: “Even if relations are gradually improving, the Welsh family likely already has a full schedule for the summer, and any reunion involving the cousins would require tons of planning and goodwill from all parties involved.”
Additionally, Amanda stated that the “biggest obstacle” will be the family breakdown between William, Harry and their wives.
He added: “I think fundamentally there are two brothers here who weren’t on speaking terms. That’s the key relationship that needs to be resolved, really, before anything else can happen.”
