Avatar: The Last Airbender season 3 plot predictions
Spoilers for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 ahead.
We are pretty sure that season 3 will directly adapt the third. Avatar book, following Aang learning to use firebending, infiltrating the Fire Nation, and preparing for his climactic showdown with Fire Lord Ozai before Sozin’s Comet arrives. So not too much.
We also know that Zuko will eventually team up with Aang and the gang to make this happen, so we can expect to see more emotional turmoil on his part.
Obviously, finding out if Aang really survived the battle is a top priority for Season 3. But the mere fact that Season 3 has already been greenlit basically confirms that we’ll see Aang again anyway.
Will there be more seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender?
As of this writing, nothing has been announced. Narratively, it makes sense for season 3 to be the last, if Books 1, 2, and 3 have each been adapted.
However, the fact that there are so many written and comic book sequels means that the possibilities could be endless. Even if we don’t get a straight season 4, Netflix could invest in a lot of spin-offs.
