Courteney Cox and her longtime partner Johnny McDaid have reportedly ended their relationship after spending 13 years together.
The couple reportedly secretly split late last year.
People close to them say that the breakup was peaceful, without arguments or hard feelings of any kind between them.
A source said: “Johnny speaks incredibly highly of Courteney. They had a very deep relationship and remain extremely friendly.
“They are great friends and care a lot about each other.”
The former couple first met in 2013 after being introduced by singer Ed Sheeran.
They got engaged shortly after, but ended their engagement in 2015.
However, Cox and McDaid reunited after that year and remained together for a few more years.
Reports claim that living in different countries and managing busy work schedules slowly became really difficult for both of them.
They often tried to manage their time between the United States and the United Kingdom, which made it more difficult to spend time together.
Another insider said: “This wasn’t an ugly breakup. They had just gotten to a point where they were living different lives.”
Although their exes have not been seen together for months, neither Courteney nor Johnny have publicly said anything about it.
