Bitpanda obtains the EU mica license from the German regulator Bafin



Bitpanda, the cryptocurrency exchange, said he obtained a cryptoactive market license (Mica) of the Federal Financial Supervision Authority of Germany (BAFIN).

The cryptoactive service provider license will allow the exchange to operate in the 27 countries of the European Union. The Austria headquarters had 6 million users in December and will use the license to accelerate its growth, he said.

“This milestone allows us to bring easy and safe investments to more than 450 million people, unlocking an incomparable growth potential in a market that we are ready to conquer completely,” said Eric Demuth, executive and co -founder director.

The company joins Stuttgart Digital, which obtained the first license from the German regulator. Moonpay, Bitstaete, ZBD and the main brokerage and compensation company Hidden Road also received Mica licenses.
