The starting 10 have been set for the WNBA All-Star Game on July 25, and among them is Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark.
But she’s not the only one representing Fever.
Her teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell are also starting in the game, which will be played in Chicago. Fans accounted for 50% of the votes, while current players and a media panel each garnered 25% to complete the vote.

Players and media panelists contributed a ballot, which was made up of four point guards and six attack players. In the end, Clark, Boston and Mitchell will appear in the All-Star Game together for the third consecutive year.
But this is the first time all three were chosen as starters, with Boston also earning that honor in 2023 and 2025, while Clark has been a starter the last two years. Mitchell will make his first All-Star start after being a replacement in 2025.

The Fever were not the only team with several players representing their team in the initial group. The Dallas Wings saw guard Paige Bueckers and forward Jessica Shepard there when the votes were counted. Additionally, Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles of the Minnesota Lynx will start in Chicago.
Rounding out the starting 10 players are Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson, four-time league MVP, two-time MVP Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and Gabby Williams of the Golden State Valkyries.

However, this year we will see a different format in terms of how the teams will face each other. Since 2018, with the exception of the 2020 COVID-19 campaign, the two highest voted players were named captains and they would choose their teams.
Now, Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon, two WNBA legends, will serve as general managers and select their rosters from among the 22 All-Stars who will have the opportunity to represent their teams in Chicago. This is to honor the league’s 30th anniversary.
There was no doubt that Clark deserved a starting spot once again, as she is averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game, which ranks fifth among all WNBA players this season. She also ranks second with 8.2 assists per game and is once again setting new WNBA records.

Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to surpass 1,000 career points and 500 assists this year. It’s been great to see those milestones, and others, from a player who battled numerous injuries in her second season in 2025.
With the 10 starters announced, the 12 reserves will be announced at a later date.
