Despite being tied for the best record in the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Dream do not have a starter in this year’s WNBA All-Star Game.

Angel Reese, Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray narrowly missed out on the honor, although all three appear to be locks to at least be selected to play in the game.

But that’s not enough, Reese said.

Reese herself said that “wait[s] disrespect him”, but defended his colleagues because “they don’t say anything”.

“However, I think those two work very hard and try very hard, and the way they are defended in every game and [have to] adjust. The reason we are where we are is because of those two,” Reese said.

“For us not having anyone was just a slap in the face.”
