Nothing has launched another cryptic advance that probably hints the next Nothing Phone 3, which an internal filtered memorandum called the company’s first flagship.
The company shared a video in X (previously Twitter) showing … well, it doesn’t show much. They have presented us with an image of a circle on a elongated rounded rectangle, forming a lowercase “i” on a black background.
Looking more closely, a darker strip is revealed from the top to the bottom of the square image, which could suggest that these circular characteristics are mounted on the side of the phone. As the video progresses, the edges of the set light in a way reminiscent of the company’s iconic glyphs designs.
In addition, the title of the publication could suggest a revelation date of the new flagship of Nothing. The title says: “power in perspective. March 4 at 10:00 GMT. “
This suggests a revelation date of March 4 for the new phone, but beyond that, what this is currently an unknown. However, the image shown in the video seems the typical camera housing of a smartphone, similar to that found in the Google Pixel 9 Pro, only turned 90 degrees.
Tentatively, we could read this advance as a suggestion that Nothing Phone 3 will be sent with three cameras instead of the two -cameras system found in Nothing Phone and Nothing Phone 2.
This would give a little more weight to the comment of the “first flagship” found in the filtered internal memorandum on which we previously reported, since triple camera systems are usually only found on flags of greater specification or level or level professional.
A third camera would probably be a wide ultra lens, in line with other premium flagships such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Google Pixel 9 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
However, a look closer to advance reveals that this glyph seems to be mounted on the side of something: it has a thin dark gray strip against the totally black frame.
This would suggest a side assembly chamber system (as strange as unlikely) or a new pair of buttons for the supposedly phone.
Perhaps Nothing is following the trend of iPhone 16 camera control by adding a shutter button to your next flagship phone. In the same way, we could be seeing something much more mundane, such as volume control and ignition button. It seems that we have a lot of time for Nothing to reveal more before it arrives on March 4.
Nothing recently launched two other advances, one that uses the company’s widgets from the company and the other that represents the character Pokémon Arcanine.
Our Review of Nothing Phone 2 found that the phone is “great enough to be different and powerful enough to recommend it.” If Nothing Phone 3 can do the same and raise the phone to true Premium standards, I would not be surprised to see it join our list of the best Android phones.
