Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded wedding wasn’t just a fairytale celebration, it was also a huge giveaway event, where one incredibly lucky guest even walked away with their very own “Getaway Car.”
The 36 year old man Opalite The singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end officially tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3.
But while the high-profile nuptials were filled with emotional vows and top-notch performances, it was the lavish reception games that really stole the show, with a high-stakes raffle giving away designer handbags and a pristine vintage 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle.
According to a report by NBC Newswho spoke to two anonymous wedding guests, the newlywed couple kept their 1,000 attendees entertained for hours by hosting a series of party games.
Guests who triumphed in these games won raffle tickets, giving them the chance to win top-tier prizes.
The vintage Chevrolet Chevelle raffle car has deeply sentimental meaning for the newlyweds, as it is the exact same make and model of the convertible that Kelce used to drive Swift away from his first Chiefs game in Kansas City in September 2023.
Beyond the exciting raffle giveaways, every element of the massive sand wedding was scaled to perfection.
Insiders said PEOPLE that the inside of Madison Square Garden was completely transformed to look like an enchanted forest, filled with real trees, lush ferns, and white covers over stadium chairs.
Swift walked down a custom aisle to a center stage where the couple read deeply personal, 20-minute vows straight from gold books.
Anticipating that the emotional family union might overwhelm their guests, the couple thoughtfully left embroidered handkerchiefs on the seats for happy tears.
Following the ceremony, which was officiated by close friend and Hollywood actor Adam Sandler, the bride’s mother invited the crowd into a busy reception room equipped with food stations serving premium Italian cuisine, fresh sushi, and bars dotted throughout the space.
