Prince Harry arrived to a chaotic scene less than an hour after it was reported that the Duke of Sussex had accepted the offer to stay at Buckingham Palace.
However, King Charles withdrew the offer, leaving Harry to fend for himself while Meghan Markle and her two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, remain in the United States.
Amid the confusion and indecision, the royal teams have continued with their scheduled schedules at the respective royal residences, including Balmoral Castle.
The beloved Scottish Palace, where Charles had stayed last week, announced a special family event, of which Harry would not be a part.
“The countdown has begun with less than three weeks until our Family Day events return!” the statement said. “From outdoor cinema and wildlife exhibits to vintage buses and activities across the grounds, join us on July 25 or August 1 for a unique way to experience Balmoral Castle this summer.”
He continued: “Located on the picturesque North Lawn, enjoy film screenings along with a variety of activities for the whole family, all included in the standard admission price.”
They pointed out that the detection of Zootopia 2 and Brave will feature “BBQ, movie snacks and a selection of drinks available for purchase.”
It would be an event for families to come together and “create memories together at the Royal Family home in the Highlands”.
