The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) said on Tuesday night that a search and rescue operation was underway after a K2 Airways plane with five crew members on board was reported missing off the coast of Karachi.

He added that a rescue coordination center was activated and a coordinated search and rescue operation was launched at sea through various agencies to locate the missing aircraft, which had five crew members on board.
According to authorities, the causes of the accident will be determined after the investigation.
