The left blames Trump for the USMNT’s defeat in the World Cup
Pak Gazette’ Kellyanne Conway and Tomi Lahren react to sports fans blaming Donald Trump for Belgium’s expulsion of the USMNT from the World Cup. They discuss the ‘Trump curse’ narrative and point out Trump’s role in reversing the suspension of a major player. English footballer Jordan Henderson has shared an update after suffering a freak arm injury while celebrating his team’s World Cup round of 16 victory over Mexico.
Henderson tried to jump over the advertising billboards after England beat Mexico 3-2 at the Mexico City Stadium in one of the best matches of the World Cup. However, his hand slipped off the top of the boards and hit the deck hard and clumsily.
The fall left Henderson with a fractured wrist.
ENGLAND’S JORDAN HENDERSON OFFICIALLY RULED AFTER FREAK FALL CAUSES FRACTURE, OPTS FOR SURGERY
It was revealed earlier this week that Henderson had opted for surgery, ruling him out for England’s quarter-final against Norway and the rest of the tournament.
On Wednesday, he provided an update that he had undergone surgery in Kansas City, which is where the Three Lions have been based this World Cup.
Let’s hope Henderson is recovering, because this is a brutal way to shorten the World Cup.

There are few things in sport as brutal as getting injured while celebrating. It’s the ultimate high, followed by the ultimate ego-damaging low.

And it’s not like Henderson was doing anything stupid, like trying to dunk the ball over the crossbar or surprising the crowd with James Brown’s cuts. He was just trying to jump over billboards, something he’s probably done hundreds of times.
But all it took was for one of those boards to be a little slippery, and that was all he wrote. The next thing you know, he’s being carried out on a stretcher… for a broken wrist.

That’s a tough way to go out and it could have happened to anyone.
