Saquon Barkley proposes Lebron James to join the fight for the Philadelphia title: “you would be remembered”

LeBron James’ decision to choose his next destination after saying goodbye to the Lakers is causing a stir on social media.

Recent speculation is that James could end up signing with one of the following teams for his 24th NBA season: Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers.

The latter has grabbed the headlines, with potential clues dropped by King James’ agent Rich Paul and NBA insider Shams Charania.

Charania in her recent appearance on the podcast show straight handlesaid Stephen A. Smith, King James is taking the 76ers “very seriously” as a possible landing spot.

However, now a latest statement from Eagles star Saquon Barkley has once again sparked speculation: whether James might have made a decision. Where would it land next?

During a football camp at Haddonfield High School in New Jersey, Barkley responded when asked about his offer to LeBron to join the 76ers.

“I think it’s one of the greatest sports cities in the world,” Barkley responded.

“I know Josh Hart said otherwise. I saw it on Twitter today, but I don’t agree with him.

“If you want to come out strong, I feel like a great place would be Philadelphia, and bringing a championship to Philadelphia would be remembered forever,” Barkley added.

The former New York Giants icon signed with the Eagles in 2024 and led them to the Super Bowl with a 2,005-yard season, which ended with the franchise’s second Super Bowl title.

King James, 41, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, has won four championships in his career: two with the Miami Heat, one with the Cavaliers and one with the LA Lakers.
