- The NVIDIA RTX 5070 TI will allegedly go on sale on February 20
- Supposedly, this is information that is obtained directly from Nvidia by a technological site
- That date is aligned with some past rumors, which seems more likely
The NVIDIA RTX 5070 could leave on February 20, or that is the last talk from the rumor factory, taken with the usual pinch of condiments as always.
Videocardz has the scoop on this, with the technology site informing us that this is the word of Nvidia, courtesy of the latest information on the embargo of Team Green’s revision.
Obviously, this should still be considered as a rumor, but the theory is that the reviews of the RTX 5070 ti graphics cards that will be launched in MSRP ($ 749 in the US February and the previous ones, the MSRP level will continue the next day, with the GPUs, all on the shelves that same day, February 20.
There is an important point to take into account about the RTX 5070 TI, and that is the fact that this graphics card will not have an edition of Founders of Nvidia, unlike all other Geforce Blackwell models that have been announced so far.
In other words, only third -party graphics cards RTX 5070 ti (from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, PNY and Zotac) will be available to buy.
According to Videocardz, Nvidia originally intended to launch these RTX 5070 TI models on February 14, but that date was returned due to the Chinese New Year (and presumably stocks of existence in it).
All Nvidia has officially said that RTX 5070 models, both vanilla and you graphics cards, will be out in February 2025.
Strengthen past rumors and concerns around RTX 5070 Timing
It is not surprising to know that Nvidia plans to unleash the RTX 5070 TI later in February, since this is something we have arrived before. Previously, it was speculated on a February launch of mid -February, before a retailer really list a launch date of February 20, as broadcast here.
Nor is it surprising that the RTX 5070 TI may appear later next month, given the rumors that we have been listening to the shortage of stocks, and there has been a lot of that chat floating. Such weight, in fact, that is becoming easier and easier to believe that Nvidia will have problems here (and it is not the case before).
So, hope with the RTX 5070 TI is that, unlike rumors around RTX 5080, we will actually obtain a decent amount of graphics cards that have a price of the MSRP (or at least very close).
The difference with the RTX 5070 TI is that, as noted above, there is no edition of founders that underlines the MSRP. Therefore, I would expect Nvidia to be pressing to make sure that your card manufacturing partners have an adequate selection of 5070 IT models in that MSRP, otherwise, well, establish that the recommended price level begins to seem like a bit useless (If all of everyone ignoring it).
Going from hope, to fear with the RTX 5070 TI, this is that the actions are sold to Lightning-Cick, since we get the first semi-consist of, a relative term, of course, Blackwell GPU really really available to buy. In particular, these graphics cards in the MSRP can disappear in the eye open and close, and we may be waiting for some time before stock levels are reinforced a bit (given the inevitable price step).
The other question is whether RTX 5070 TI is due between February 20, where does that leave the RTX 5070? To be fair, in theory, the vanilla card could be very close, and it is attracting more interest than the 5070 you current that can attract the approach of the Ti model in a short time.
All this is conjectures naturally, without a doubt, the talk about the RTX 5070 TI that looks like a next -generation less robust update, that is mainly based on some NVIDIA performance graphics, the specifications of the GPU and the parallel -based parallel drawing How the RTX 5090 relaxed relative for its predecessor, so these are notions that we should not stop carrying.
However, there are also some rumors that RTX 5070 could be delayed as of March 2025, and if there is something in that burning fire in particular, not to mention this NVIDIA GPU still, apparently, the RTX 5070 TI could be the only option in Blackwell’s average range table for a while. Everything as AMD seeks to enter the game with its RX 9070 models in March, although those GPUs have faced their own controversy.
In fact, I am not sure to be able to remember a period prior to the launch of GPU that has been so thick with rumors and oddities, that this current advance of Blackwell and RDNA 4.
