Major League Wrestling’s (MLW) alliances with other promotions around the world allow for the opportunity for some star-studded matches and it’s already been seen.
Shotzi Blackheart recently defended the MLW Women’s World Championship against Kira of the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) on the latest episode of “Fusion.” He could also have the opportunity to face anyone on the Stardom roster. The possibilities are seemingly endless.

However, there is one individual match he hopes to have a chance at. And that’s against CMLL Women’s World Champion Perséfone. The two faced off in a fatal four-way match in April, but Shotzi hopes to get another chance.
“Oh my God. I played it a little bit during Mania week,” he recalled to Pak Gazette Digital. “I had a four-way (match) with her and I can already tell you that we have chemistry.

“I want a one-on-one against her so badly. She’s so strong. So fierce. She’s intense. She’s so intense. I was able to test her a little bit, but I need a one-on-one.”
Perséfone has been the CMLL women’s world champion since March when she dethroned Mercedes Moné. She has often been seen on All Elite Wrestling (AEW) programming, as the company also has a partnership with CMLL.

For now, Shotzi will focus his attention on MLW’s skyscrapers: Donovan Dijak and Josh Bishop. She will be in the corner of Mads Krule Krugger and The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, as they take on the tag team champions.
